I opened Learning Garden Academy in 2014 as a working mother of four, after struggling to find quality childcare that taught children about love, kindness, and the love of Jesus.

Why Learning Garden began
I created the childcare I wanted for my own children.
As a working mother of four, I knew how difficult it was to leave my children in someone else’s care. I wanted a place where they would be known, challenged, loved, and taught the love of Jesus—and I struggled to find it.
That search became Learning Garden Academy. The teachers in my own village had shown me how one caring adult can shape a child’s life. Their trust helped me discover my purpose, and in 2014 I opened our doors to give other families the same kind of support.
Today, The Creative Curriculum guides learning through play, exploration, and discovery while helping children build confidence, kindness, and a lasting love of learning. We partner closely with families because raising children takes a village—and we would be honored to be part of yours. Now I am deeply blessed that my grandchildren get to come through these same doors and be part of the beautiful community that began with a mother’s hope for her own children.
